  • STYLISH BOTANICAL WEDDING IN GLASGOW

We can't wait to share this wedding. The style, the love, the CAKE. Swoon! Caitlin and Callum planned their wedding at the Oran Mor whilst living in London and did such an incredible job. They were so easy to get along with and we just loved chatting to them on our zoom calls and hearing about their plans. There was a cracking list of suppliers for this day with special shoutouts to Pin Up Hair for her talent and chats in the morning, Rude Cookies for the epic cake and Briar Rose for the beautiful florals. Caitlin wore a vintage Dolce & Gabbana dress and Jimmy Choo shoes that looked unreal on her. The highlight for us was popping over to the Botanical Gardens to capture a quick couple shoot. We just adore the light and colours in there and love what we created with these two. Even though it was bloody boiling and we had to be quick in there! We have put some of our favourite highlights from their day below.

  • COLOURFUL MANOR HOME WEDDING AT WINTON CASTLE

We are so excited to share this wedding! Roisin and Fraser had their incredible wedding day at Seton Collegiate Church and Winton Castle. Both venues were a playground for us as photographers and we absolutely loved getting to be creative in these unique spaces. Roisin and Fraser had an total dream team of suppliers for their day with special shoutouts to Jenny Ross MUA, Erin Rose Films and Pixie Rose Flowers who we always love working with. It is always such a compliment when couples trust our vision and let us capture them in our own way. A highlight was taking portraits of these two in the empty church as we played with beautiful light and Roisin's veil. They look so cool! We had the best time with these two and their wonderful family and friends. We were made to feel like a part of this day and I love the joy that you can see through their images. Here is a few of our favourites!

  • INDUSTRIAL PINK WEAVING SHED WEDDING

Industrial chic, pink rainbow of colour, vegan feast, cool af styles.. do we need to say more?! Mel and Yasmin had their wedding day at the the brilliant Weaving Shed in Dundee. A wonderful list of suppliers made the day fantastic and Thea a.k.a the Pink Wellie wedding planner made the day go so smoothly. We leaned right into the brickwork and industrial vibe at the Weaving Shed for Mel and Yasmins couple shoot and we love the outcome. It is so fun how versatile a simple backdrop can be when you have some fun with props and posing. Fallones Pizza catered the wedding making a vegan feast for everybody and Katie MacDonald did a fantastic job of the ceremony. Here are some of our favourites from the day.

  • BEAUTIFUL ISLAND WEDDING ON ARRAN

We were so lucky to be asked to capture Alex and Gordons stunning and intimate wedding on the Isle of Arran. Arran has always been a constant in Alex and Gordons life and they knew they wanted to marry somewhere important to them and their family. The unique venue was the Dougarie Boathouse and what a joy this place was to capture in! The building is so unique to look at and the location was just stunning by the water. We were made to feel so welcome by everyone at this wedding and we truly felt like a part of the wedding the whole day. Here are some highlights from their day.

  • COLOURFUL BARN WEDDING AT FALSIDE MILL

We captured a beautiful wedding at Falside Mill this summer with Shannon and Lewis. There was such a lovely, laid back and truly happy atmosphere for this entire wedding which made it such a joy to be a part of and document. Falside Mill is one of the newer venues to arrive to the East Coast joining some our favourites in the area like Cow Shed Crail, Kinkell Byre and Cambo Estate. You really are spoilt for choice with wedding venues here! We were welcomed in straight away by everyone at this wedding making our job a lot easier and let us catch such fun, happy moments as they happened naturally. It was lovely nipping to the beach with the newly married couple along with their dog Alfie who hitched a ride in our car. Highlights of the day include Alfie being the ring bearer, the top table guests dancing into the room before speeches, wandering around the fields outside the venue in blue hour and a very impressive full dancefloor. The orange accented florals by Stucio and Waow went perfectly and Fifty Six Events dressed the venue beautifully. Sneaky Treacle kept the dancefloor full and helped us get some fun dancing shots before we left. Here are some of our favourites from throughout their day.

  • TULACH ARD HOUSE HIGHLAND WEDDING

We met Kristen and Jayson through the lovely Anisha at Highland Weddings and we are so grateful we did! These guys came over from Canada to have their wedding at the stunning Tulach Ard House up north. With Jayson having connections to Scotland through being here for university, they wanted a wedding to show off Scotland and their love for the water and hills. This venue was the ideal setting for a small and intimate wedding. Everything was onsite and the barn was perfectly rustic for a laid back and cosy evening. Everybody could stay in the house and the owners were so welcoming and kind. Francesca did a wonderful job of the ceremony and Kristen had her hair and make up done beautifully by Bonnys Wonderland. We hopped in the car after dinner and went to a favourite spot of ours near Eilean Donan Castle. The light was doing all the right things and Kristen and Jayson were a dream to capture.

  • A REAL GLASGOW WEDDING WITH A TWIST

From Annabelle + David's first email, we knew this was going to be a wedding with a bit of a difference. The plans changed over time but the core idea for these two was to have a wedding completely their way. The final plan for their wedding was to get ready in their own beautiful Glasgow flat, get hitched at the registry office with their loved ones, drink champagne in the streets of Glasgow and walk to the Subway together, travel to The Bothy in the West End for some dinner and then head to Ashton Lane for their evening do with more friends and family at the Grosvenor Cafe. After a chat, we suggested the idea to ask the Grosvenor if we could use their stunning, red leather cinema screens for some photos. With a vision in mind fuelled by our love for Wes Anderson films, we shared our idea with Annabelle and David and luckily they were up for something a little unique too! Shout out to the Grosvenor for moving their screen times around to allow us a half an hour slot to get creative. The images of Annabelle and David in a beautiful cinema wearing old school 3D glasses Rachel found on Ebay, is some of our favourites to date. These guys made it very clear that they weren't too interested in getting overly loved up photos and wanted to focus more on their movement between locations. I love that we have captured their journey throughout Glasgow and was able to capture them in the cinema later on in the evening when they were a little more confident in front of us. Showing how people really are in our photos is so important and we don't want to just copy and paste poses on everyone if it doesn't suit them. Annabelle's dress was by Needle&Thread and her hair and make-up was done by AMM. David's kilt was by Macgregor and McDuff and the florals were by Blooms Glasgow. This was such a fun day to capture. Ending the evening at the Cathouse and finding these two on the dance floor at 3am was the cherry on the cake too! Here are some of our favourites from their day. It was difficult to narrow them down!

  • A GOTHIC AND MAGICAL ST MARYS SPACE ELOPEMENT

What a complete wonderland this day was for us! This was our first time at St Marys Space and we were SO excited to capture there from what we had seen online. This eclectic, fascinating and unique space was the perfect backdrop for Zainab and Blaine's elopement. These two came over from Texas to elope in the Scottish hills and we knew we would hit it off straight away from their enquiry. I cant explain how magical it is to read an email that says "I just found your page and something in my soul just said - These are our people. These are our photographers!!" They explained their style to us, talked a little about how they met and shared how in love they were. It was the perfect first email. We had chats and meetings and ended up with an exciting plan for their day. We worked together to make a realistic schedule that incorporated what they wanted to see/do on their day. Bonnys Wonderland did a fantastic job on Zainab's hair and make-up and it is always so lovely to see her at prep. The ceremony was done beautifully by Annie Loughlin and you could just see how much she cared for the couple. The detail Charlotte and Jamie put into their venue and the incredible effort they put into Zainab and Blaine's elopement was so impressive. The little signs, handmade gifts, written letters, decorations and a stunning three course meal doesn't even cover everything they did. We were so generously treated to a meal with the couple and it was a special moment to be sitting in such beautiful surroundings getting to know our new friends better. To top the day off, we ventured into the trees for a little night time shoot with lanterns and Blaine treated us all to some acoustic guitar. We all tried to fight off the sudden need to nap after such amazing food but the outcome has made some of our favourite photos to date. Here is a few photos from their day.

  • A WINTER WONDERLAND ISLE OF SKYE ELOPEMENT IN SNOW

Now you might think booking your elopement in March on the Isle of Skye might be a bit mad but we honestly think its the absolute best time of year Erin + Ross could have chosen! We were rewarded with the most stunning views for their intimate wedding and I cant thank these guys enough for embracing the cold weather with us. We swung by their Airbnb in the morning to catch the tail end of their prep. With a couple of friends and their little girl, we said hello and started documenting their day. Bonny's Wonderland did a beautiful job on the hair and make-up and is always a joy to see in the morning of a wedding. We made our way down to Sligachan Bridge as Erin + Ross knew they wanted to have their ceremony there. Isle of Skye is stunning but can be very busy with tourists (rightly so!) but due to the weather it felt like we had it to ourselves. Their ceremony was done by the fantastic Mairi Phillips and had a great mixture of tradition and personal tails of the couple. We then hopped in our car and drove for 4o minutes to the Quiraing. It was so quiet! There was no wind or sound and I cant explain how special it was to witness this moment. Erin + Ross did a wonderful job in front of the camera even with us being heavely warned about Ross' Chandler Bing smile! An extra shout out needs to go to Erin. This women braved the weather like a total champ all the whilst being pregnant. There was even a moment where Rachel had to take her jacket off and make her wear it as she was just so up for braving the cold. She also knew the importance of not getting hung up about her dress getting dirty. It allowed her to move freely without worry and even told me later that it cleaned up just fine. A favourite part to this day was when Tonie was taking a photo of them both from the Quiraing. In the distance we heard a little American voice shouting "THESE ARE THE BEST WEDDING PHOTOS EVER" and we looked over saw this hiker in the distance with her arms in the air shouting to us. It was so wholesome! You can find the image of her below amongst some of our favourites.

  • INDUSTRIAL GLASGOW WEDDING AT THE ENGINE WORKS

The Engine Works in Glasgow is a wonderful venue for a wedding photographer. Mixing the industrial styling of the place with Louise + William's stylish fashion made for an incredibly fun day to capture! Louise's dress was by Rixo and Williams suit was by Paul Smith. The priority for the their wedding was to have a good old knees up with a ceilidh and good food. Stravaig Ceilidh Band did a fantastic job of keeping the dancefloor full and Mr Singh catered the day with the BEST Indian cuisine. Here is a few of our favourites from their day.

  • BEAUTIFUL 70's COLOUR THEMED ELOPEMENT AT CONIC HILL

I think we can all agree the styling and colours in this elopement is a dream! We met Shea + Ryan at Conic Hill along with a few close loved ones for their small wedding ceremony. These guys came over from America to enjoy some of Scotlands beautiful landscapes. They wanted a space in the Scottish wilderness that was also close enough to their evening reception dinner in Glasgow. We worked together over email and zoom to find their perfect spot and it was lovely seeing it all come together on the day. Shea's dress by Grace Loves Lace was AMAZING and the florals by Wild Iris matched perfectly. Their ceremony was personal, emotional and hilarious and it was a total joy to capture.

  • WHIMSICAL MANOR HOME WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT BROXMOUTH COURTYARD

This venue is beautiful! It matched Sally + Lauren's vibe so well and it was a photographer's playground to photograph in. Broxmouth Courtyard consists of renovated stables and beautiful cottages. The layout is perfect and the courtyard is great for fire pits and having drinks and canapés in the sun. Our fav Floral Menagerie did a spectacular job on the florals and it was great working with the lovely Jenna Clayton MUA again. The party well and truly kicked off right from the beginning of the evening with Bahookie performing. A rock ceilidh band? uhh yes please! A highlight for us was the small moment of calm during the couple shoot with the girls. We went back into the house and took some photos within the beautiful decor. Just as we were heading back, we had a look at one last room to see if we could use it. Sally spotted a grand piano and offered to play us all something on it. Lauren stood closely by and it made for some of our most loved photos from this day. Here is a few of our favourites!
